What happens at an LTB hearing

1. Read the Notice of Hearing

   It says the date, time, and whether the hearing is virtual or in person. Missing it can end the case without your evidence.

2. File and upload documents before the deadline on the notice

   The member decides on exhibits, not on speeches. Label photos.

3. At the hearing, answer the form that started the case

   An L1 hearing is about rent and the N4. A T6 hearing is about repairs. Stay on that issue.

4. Read the order the same day it is issued

   Review and appeal paths are short. The order, not the conversation after the hearing, is what the Sheriff or the parties must follow.
