How to enforce a Small Claims judgment in Ontario

1. An order is not automatic payment

   The court does not collect for you by default. You start enforcement.

2. Get Form 20A Certificate of Judgment if you need it

   Then look at the enforcement forms on the Small Claims list, including Form 20P Affidavit for Enforcement Request.

3. Garnishment and examination are court processes

   Wrong name or address still blocks collection. Fix identity first.

4. If you are the debtor

   A judgment can lead to garnishment. Get advice quickly. Do not ignore the next form the way you ignored the claim.
