How to find your city by-law on this site

1. Open Municipal & Local Government

   Use the city finder. Know The Law keeps major-city shelves, not every township.

2. If your city is listed, open that shelf

   Zoning, licensing and property-standards by-laws, when they have been synced, live there.

3. If your city is not listed, use the provincial municipal statutes on the same hub

   Those Acts still control what a council may do.

4. A by-law page on this site is unofficial text

   Confirm a prosecution or a permit on the city’s official page.

5. Tickets and POA charges are a different Learning Centre card

   A by-law offence notice is not an N4 and not a Criminal Code charge.
