Ontario generally uses a two-year limitation idea for many claims
There are exceptions.
A payment or written acknowledgement can restart issues
Do not casually ‘pay something’ without understanding it.
Collectors may still call after a limitation defence exists
The legal defence is raised in court, not by hoping they stop.
