Prescribed persons, “physician”
1. A person who is exempted from the requirement to be a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario under subsections 9 (1) and (3) of the Medicine Act, 1991 by a regulation made under that Act is a prescribed person for the purposes of the definition of “physician” in section 1 of the Gift of Life Act.
