How to read a tribunal notice of hearing

This page is a public educational walkthrough. It is not a retainer, a court form, or a promise about your result. For legal advice, you should contact an appropriate Lawyer or Paralegal specializing in the area of law you need assistance with.

  1. Find the date, time and whether it is virtual

The notice is the calendar. Missing it can end the case.

  2. Find the document deadline

Tribunals decide on uploaded evidence more than on speeches.

  3. The form that started the file is still the issue

An LTB T6 hearing is about maintenance. Do not turn it into a different statute.

  4. Write the order number after the hearing

Review and appeal windows are short.

  5. Official filing portals stay with the tribunal

This site explains the path. It does not accept your PDF.
